Little Food Pantry
Our curbside food pantry is available 24/7 to share with our neighbors. Help support our Little Food Pantry by donating items or volunteering to restock it.
Willing Workers
Meet monthly with dedicated members who love helping and doing good deeds. Activities include silent auctions, Packer snacks, rummage sale, Soup Sundays among many others.
Prayer Circle
Join others in the greatest of gifts - the power of prayer. Prayer Circle members are devoted to praying for those in need of prayers and prayer requests are kept confidential with the members.
NAMI Northwoods
NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is a non-profit organization that provides support, education and advocacy. NAMI Northwoods serves Marathon, Lincoln, and Langlade counties in Wisconsin on behalf of individuals and families affected by mental illness. NAMI Northwoods has office space at Grace United Church of Christ. There are family and peer support groups that also meet - Contact naminorthwoods@gmail.com with interest in attending either group.
Refugee Team
Grace UCC is forming a Refugee Team to explore how we will respond in faith and love to incoming Afghan Refugees. Information currently available is that refugees will begin arriving in Wausau in December 2021, with a larger number of refugees expected in April 2022. A number of Grace UCC'ers are beginning this process of discernment. If you would like to assist in how Grace UCC reaches out to our newest neighbors, please contact Rev. Camp AweSum
Camp AweSum is a Not-For-Profit charitable organization dedicated to providing summer camp opportunities for children (ages 9-15) on the Autism Spectrum and their families - Volunteers must at least 14 years old. Their mission is transforming lives by providing a respectbased culture of acceptance, support, and understanding for those who are touched by autism, through community building and education.
