Grace UCC is located on South 3rd Avenue on the west side of Wausau. Visitors coming from all directions can easily access the Church by taking the Stewart Avenue Exit off I-39 and proceeding to the intersection of Stewart and 3rd Avenue, turning left onto 3rd Avenue and immediately moving to the left lane of 3rd Avenue and turning left into the Church parking lot.

Our church service takes place every Sunday at 10:30 am. You are invited to come in person or to view our services online. To access online services, please use either YouTube or Facebook.

Grace UCC has a large parking lot adjacent to the building accessible directly off of 3rd Avenue and also off of Garfield Ave.

Our back entrance under the overhang is handicapped accessable with an elevator.

We love to see and hear children in our worship! We love the process of nurturing children in understanding God's inclusive and abundant love. There is a special place for children to play with quiet toys in our worship space. Parents can sit right near our colorful rug! We make time for children to visit with the pastor for a special story, and often a special treat during worship.

We try to blend the classic forms of worship with new experiences. Worship programs are easy to use and serve as a guide. All prayers and responses are printed and easy to read and are available to you through our home devotional. Our pastor will offer a dynamic message based on scripture and often filled with humor and personal stories. Worship lasts at most one hour. Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month, and everyone is invited to participate.

When you decide you'd like to become a formal member of Grace UCC, the process is simple. You would talk with Rev. Julie or speak with one of our lay leaders. We will schedule an informational time to answer your questions, give you a little background about our congregation and the United Church of Christ, and ask you to share a little information about yourself too, to know you and your family a little better. After that a time will be scheduled for you to share your intentions with the church. We accept members either by transfer from another congregation or by affirmation of faith. If you have not been baptized, we can arrange for that sacrament too. 

We have many opportunities to participate in volunteer activities. Our sidewalk food pantry relies on volunteers to stock it every day and YOU could be one of those persons. We also welcome food donations. Willing Workers is a group of people who want to make a difference in the life of our congregation and in our community. These volunteers take on projects like bringing a soup meal, an activity like a puzzle or word find and love to our members who have difficulty in getting out. We have special events like our Trunk or Treat at Halloween time. Our choir is coming back together after a long Covid-19 hiatus. If you love to sing, please join us.
